Michael Gibbs' illustration Hard Times will be on display at the Society of Illustrators from April 3 to May 1, 2004. The illustration, depicting an English industrial town, was recently selected for inclusion in the Society's 46th Annual Exhibition. The artwork was created for the Pittsburgh Repertory Theater's production of the Charles Dickens' classic, and was art directed by Kiera Alderette of Mullen Advertising, Pittsburgh.
   Each year, a jury of illustrators and designers selects the best and most innovative illustrations of the year from a field of some 5000 entries. The selected illustrations are exhibited in the Society's gallery, and will be included in Illustrators 46, to be published in the Spring, 2005 by the Society of Illustrators.
  The Society of Illustrators gallery is located at 128 East 63rd Steet in New York City.
