PRESS RELEASE
July, 2004
"Night Train," commissioned by Realms of Fantasy Magazine," and "The Visit," a poster created for The Pittsburgh Playhouse Repertory Theater by Michael Gibbs, have been accepted into the 45th Communication Arts Illustration Annual, which will be available in July, 2004.
"Night Train" is a surreal story that revolves around a man who takes a train ride, and becomes convinced he is going back in time, where he will confront people from his past.
In "The Visit," a hometown girl who left town, disgraced and ashamed, goes on to become super wealthy. She returns and offers the townspeople one million dollars to help save their economically depressed town. In exchange, she wants them to exact the ultimate revenge on a former lover who years before had spurned her. What would you do? That's the story behind Friedrich Durrenmatt's tragi-comedy that was turned into a play by the Pittsburgh Playhouse.
"The Visit" and "Night Train" are available as signed, limited edition giclee prints in the print gallery of my website.
